The Rainbow Nursery School has served pre-school children in Ticonderoga and surrounding areas for the past 29 years.
We offer a 1/2 day educational program to students 3,4 and 5 yers old to help prepare them for the challenges of kindergarten. Topics include introduction and recognition of colors, shapes, letters, numbers and first name. Along with these topics, music appreciation is stressed through songs and fingerplays to help increase vocabulary skills. Primary science lessons and art projects are also included in our curriculum.
Free play is offered to help promote social development in large and small group settings. Field Trips and outdoor play is included when weather is pleasant. Student - Teacher ratio is approximately 1:8. Our program runs concurrently with the Ticonderoga Central School System. |
