Shoreline Cruises

Cruise 1 1/2 hours Thursday through Sunday departing from Larrabee's Point. Follow Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys as they depart from Hands Cove and travel across Lake Champlain to capture Fort Ticonderoga - the first major victory of the American Revolution.  Learn lake history and ecology.  Keep on the lookout for Bald Eagles, Osprey and the elusive Lake Monster "Champ" Cruise 1 1/2 hours Monday through Wednesday departing from Whitehall Marina Live Narration - See unspoiled views from the water of the birthplace of the U.S.Navy, Fiddlers Elbow, Putts Rock, Galick Farm, South Bay and many more historical sites.

An 18th century stone fort built by the French in 1755 between Lake Champlain and Lake George. The Fort was the site of major battles in the French and Indian War and is the site of the first victory of the American Revolution. Families will enjoy the fort, a world-class museum, costumed interpreters, daily artillery demonstrations. Cannon firings and Fife & Drum Corp performances are held in July & August. Included with admission is the King's Garden, a spectacular 1920's pleasure garden. Museum store, family-style restaurant, and picnic grounds. Open daily May thru  October.

The museum portrays the industrial history of Ticonderoga and surrounding areas including paper making, graphite mining, Dixon Pencil and the impact of the industrial development on the town and its people.

The Museum gift shop showcases local artists and crafters. Children's and adult workshops are scheduled throughout the summer.

Museum hours: 10:00AM to 4:00PM. Weekends Memorial Day to June 24th.

Daily June 25th to Labor Day and weekends Labor Day to Columbus Day.
