An 18th century stone fort built by the French in 1755
between Lake Champlain and Lake George. The Fort was the
site of major battles in the French and Indian War and
is the site of the first victory of the American Revolution.
Families will enjoy the fort, a world-class museum, costumed
interpreters, daily artillery demonstrations. Cannon firings
and Fife & Drum Corp performances are held in July
& August. Included with admission is the King's Garden,
a spectacular 1920's pleasure garden. Museum store, family-style
restaurant, and picnic grounds. Open daily May thru
