22 Aug Nov 30th – Dec 8th: Ticonderoga Area North Country Christmas Celebration
The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) in coordination with several area businesses and organizations will host the 15th Annual Ticonderoga Area North Country Christmas Celebration from Saturday, November 30th through Sunday, December 8th, 2024. Each year the celebration officially kicks off with Small Business Saturday.

Sunday, December 1st
Rockin’ Tree Lighting with DJ Jazzy Jake
Ticonderoga Community Building 5:30 PM
Join us as we light the community Christmas Tree, listen to holiday music, enjoy a campfire and more. All kids in attendance will help count down to the tree lighting. Children will also be able to get their photo with Santa next to the tree. Parents bring your cameras and cellphones to snap a photo. Cookies and hot chocolate, provided by Silver Bay YMCA Teen Center.
Holiday Hay Rides
Ticonderoga Heritage Museum 5:30 – 7:30 PM
Enjoy Holiday Wagon Rides following the Tree Lighting and continue to listen to holiday music. Sponsored by the Sawyer Family.

Santa’s Magical Mailbox Opens
Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce 2:00 PM
Santa’s Mailbox will officially be open and ready to
accept letters from area believers. Join us in person or via Facebook live when we officially open it for the 2024 Christmas season! Be sure to include your return address so Santa can respond to you! All letters to Santa must be mailed by December 13th to allow Santa time to respond. Sponsored by Ti Automotive.

“It’s the Spirit of Christmas” Children’s Program
Black Watch Memorial Library 6:00 PM
Join us for a reading of “It’s the Spirit of Christmas, Peaches” read by the author, Shaundra Bartlett. After the story, children will be given 2 small tote bags to color and fill with miscellaneous Christmas items. One tote is for the participant and one to gift to a friend.

Parade of Lights
Ticonderoga Business District 6:00 -7:30 PM
Enjoy the annual Parade of Lights through the Ticonderoga Business District. Watch from a local business or the sidewalk along the route. Official route will be posted. Businesses, organizations, and community members are encouraged to participate. You must register with the Ticonderoga Fire Department by contacting Mary at 518-586-6912 or mcunningham14@nycap.rr.com. All entries must be family friendly. Ti Heritage Museum and Ti Arts Holiday Gift Shoppe
Ticonderoga Arts Gallery 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
The Ticonderoga Heritage Museum will join the Ticonderoga Arts Gallery in Downtown Ticonderoga for a Christmas Shoppe. Adirondack Artists are represented in the many gifts, books, jewelry, pottery, and wood products. Also open December 7th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
