The Ticonderoga Best 4thIn The North Committee, a sub-committee of the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP), is now accepting nominations for Grand Marshal for the 2022 Best 4th In The North parade in Ticonderoga, as well as parade applications/registrations. The theme for the 2022 Parade and Celebration is “Christmas In July.” Grand Marshal Nominations can be submitted on the Best 4th In The North facebook page via messenger or by emailing tmsp@timainstreet.org. The Ticonderoga Revitalization Alliance, Ticonderoga Schools, with support from the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce, are partnering on a spring job fair to connect students with local employers for seasonal and full-time (post-graduation) employment. This year’s fair will be held at the Ticonderoga High School gymnasium on Thursday, April 28, from 9:30 - 1:30. This year, students will prepare for the job fair in advance by completing standardized job applications. Teachers and counselors will mentor the students to help them put their best foot forward. A ribbon cutting celebration was recently held to mark the completion of Monty Benedict’s Basketball Court Eagle Scout Project. The event was hosted by the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) in coordination with the local Boy Scouts, the Town of Ticonderoga and several local organizations. The ribbon cutting also served as an opportunity to thank Monty for his hard work, dedication, and commitment to the Ticonderoga community.
