The Lake Champlain Region is celebrated for 400 years of history and one of the most striking skylines in the Eastern U.S. Often referred to as the 6th Great Lake, Lake Champlain stretches over 120 miles, boasts 600 miles of shoreline as well as 70 islands, Lake Champlain unites historic hamlets along the shore. The region offers scenic mountain hikes, biking on quiet country roads, championship golf courses and endless water recreation including fishing, boating, swimming, and kayaking. Visit the regions 18th century military forts at Ticonderoga and Crown Point, check out the area museums or just relax and wander down the charming streets.
