You will want to visit the Ticonderoga Area in NY and experience all the Adirondacks has to offer!

 

Gull Bay Preserve
This woodland hillside property contains old logging roads and two wetland swamps. In autumn, significant numbers of migratory waterfowl rest in the wetland before their journey south to warmer climates. The western side of the property has a magnificent scenic vista of Lake George. The Lake George Land Conservancy has established two miles of hiking trails and hosts nature excursions on the property.

 

Gull Bay Public Beach & Boat Launch
Located on Gull Bay Road in Putnam the beach area offers a beautiful view of Lake George, swimming, a sandy beach, boat launch and a chance to relax in this quiet and serene setting.

 

Billy Bob’s Apple Orchard
Located on Lower Road in Putnam Station. Billy Bob’s offers an array of delicious apples ready to go, pick your own orchard, homemade sweet treats, Billy Bob’s attire, and an Annual Apple Fest with hay rides, pumpkin picking and more.
