Essex County Industrial Development Agency Awarded $125,000 For Agriculture Producers Revitalization Microenterprise Grant Governor Kathy Hochul recently announced more than $5.4 million in awards of Smart Growth Grants to 48 communities and organizations in the Catskill and Adirondack Park. The Essex County Industrial Development Agency (ECIDA) in partnership with Essex County was awarded $125,000 for the implementation of the Essex County Agriculture Producers Revitalization Microenterprise Grant Program. A Must Do Event – Visit Downtown Ticonderoga The Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP) is pleased to announce that they will host the 15th Annual StreetFest in Historic Downtown Ticonderoga on Saturday, July 27th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism (ROOST), in coordination with the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC), has released the results of the 2023 Lake Champlain Region bass tournament survey, developed to assess the economic impact of the region’s fishing tournaments. Overall economic impact of the fishing tournaments in 2023 was substantial. Visitors contributed positively to the local economy, with an estimated total spend in Essex County amounting to more than $2 million.
