18th Annual TACC Fundraiser & Auction Goes Virtual for 2020

The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) 18th Annual Fundraiser and Auction will now be a Virtual Auction held online with an in person gathering at a later time.  The online auction will take place August 31st to September 7th, 2020 with participants being able to bid on an array of items as well as make donations to support the Chamber.  Visit www.ticonderogany.com or the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce facebook page for a link to the virtual auction that will be available August 31st.

“Our Members, area businesses and community members continue to be dedicated and supportive every year for the Chamber’s Annual Fundraiser which allows us to reach our mission and strive for our vision. Your support is deeply appreciated and makes all of our services, programs, and efforts possible.  Our goal for this year is to continue to have this event be our premier fundraiser even while dealing with the challenges of COVID-19. We encourage your sponsorship and support for the 2020 Annual Fundraiser and Auction. We encourage TACC Members and area businesses to give what you can during this difficult time! Donations/Sponsorships are being accepted until Monday, August 24th, 2020,” shared Matthew Courtright – TACC President & CEO.

The TACC is a non-profit organization that is business focused, community minded, and future drive. The continued dedication and support of their Members, Partners, and Supporters enable them serve, market, and promote their Members and the Ticonderoga area including, Ticonderoga, Crown Point, Hague, Moriah, and Putnam, NY.  In addition, they are able to provide business support, services, and resources, business referrals, answer many community and visitor questions and requests, send visitor area information packets, keep an online calendar of events, plan and host free community events, and events that attract area visitors. They also are able to assist area organizations with their events and projects, expand and create new partnerships, coordinate area fishing tournaments, work closely with area organizations and economic development agencies to grow and improve the economic climate of the region, provide an array of benefits for our Members, and much more.

To accommodate various levels of support, they are now seeking either monetary contributions, auction items, or a combination. They have the following sponsorship levels available: Chamber Champion at the $1,000 level, Visionary Supporter at the $750.00 level, Pivotal Supporter at the $500.00 level, Distinguished Supporter at the $250.00 level, Sustainable Supporter at the $125.00 level, and Community Supporter for contributions under $125.00. We ask that all donations for the virtual auction must be received by August 24th, 2020 and monetary donations must be received by September 11th to be included in sponsorship recognition advertising. Donations can be mailed or dropped off to the Chamber office in Downtown Ticonderoga during normal business hours. Arrangements can also be made to have your contributions picked up.  All sponsors will receive recognition for their level of contribution based on that level.

The Chamber proudly serves our members and area businesses, but is also just as proud to continue to work for the betterment and growth of the community and area as a whole.
