2026 Community Appreciation Dinner & Awards Ceremony: RSVP & Submit Nominations

The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) will host its Annual Ticonderoga Area Community Appreciation Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, October 22nd, 2026 at 6:00 PM. The complimentary dinner and awards ceremony will be held at the Knights of Columbus in Downtown Ticonderoga, located at 103 Montcalm Street.

The dinner and awards ceremony are an opportunity to recognize area businesses, organizations, committees, and volunteers, as well as the 2026 recipients of the “Business of the Year,” “Organization of the Year,” “Chamber Volunteer of the Year,” “Community Volunteer of the Year,” and several TACC Appreciation Awards.

Nominations for the 2026 Business of the Year, Organization of the Year, Chamber Volunteer of the Year, Community Volunteer of the Year, and TACC Appreciation Awards are now being accepted. Forms are available at the Chamber office at 94 Montcalm Street, Suite 1, Ticonderoga, online at www.ticonderogany.com, or can be submitted directly through the online nomination ballot, https://bit.ly/CADNominations2026. Nominations must be received by October 2nd, 2026.

“The Community Appreciation Dinner and Awards Ceremony is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and thank the businesses, organizations, committees, and individuals who give so much to our communities throughout the year. Their dedication, support, and spirit of volunteerism help make so many of our local events, initiatives, and projects possible. At the 2025 Community Appreciation Dinner and Awards Ceremony, the Business of the Year Award was presented to Geraws OK Septic Service, the Organization of the Year Award was presented to the Ticonderoga Alumni Association, the Chamber Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Kristin Frechette, and the Community Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Wendy Shaw.

TACC Appreciation Awards were presented to Bain’s Sunoco, Cindy Bodette, Lillie Valley Farm, Daniel Woods, The Alexander Family, Ticonderoga Golf Course and Seymour’s Restaurant, Starr Agnello, Nicole Teriele, Amie Vradenburg, Michelle Eicher, UVMH-ECH Ticonderoga Campus, and Hague Historical Society.

Special Recognition Awards were presented to Patrick Ida, CPA, Allison Kaupelis, Sally Rympkema, Charlie Harrington, and Mark Wright.
