Mountain Lake Services To Host October Networking Event

Mountain Lake Services To Host October Networking Event

Mountain Lake Services will host the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) October After Business Mixer & Networking Event on Thursday, October 13th, 2022 from 5:30 – 7:00 PM.  The event will take place at Mountain Lake Consignment and Engraving which is located at 4300 Main Street in Port Henry, NY.

Sponsors providing door prizes are Brannock Properties, Mountain Lake Services, Ti Automotive, Tromblee’s Greenhouse & Gifts and Joleigh Cakes.

“Mountain Lake Services is so excited to welcome the TACC to the After-Business Mixer at the Mountain Lake Consignment Store. The store, previously the former Stewarts Shop, was redesigned with great detail, creating a welcoming environment for our community. Store Manager, Linell Decker and her team provide quality clothing and outstanding customer service, which quickly turned the store into the “talk of the town.” In addition, we will be having our other businesses including the Mountain Weavers Guild, Essex Industries and the Adirondack Canoe Company displaying their products. Our hope is that you will see the incredible work that Mountain Lake Services supports. Mountain Lake Services cannot operate without our community, and we are proud to be partners of the TACC and look forward to an amazing event,” shared – Jack Mudge, Mountain Lake Services CEO.

The Chamber’s “After Business Mixers” provide a networking forum for Chamber Members, area business people, and organizations. In addition, the networking events provide an opportunity to showcase the host as well as promote the door prize sponsors. Networking and connecting with other Chamber Members is a key component of Chamber membership and marketing your business as a whole. Chamber members, area businesses, and organizations are encouraged to take advantage of this and all networking opportunities. Join the Chamber to connect with area businesses and organizations, meet new people, and take advantage of the opportunity to hear from the hosts. In addition, use this opportunity to keep the Chamber updated so they can assist you to the best of their ability. All TACC and Moriah Chamber Members are invited to attend.

About Mountain Lake Services:

As the Chapter of The Arc New York in Essex County, the history of Mountain Lake Services is one of evolution, expansion and individual focus. Beginning in 1967 with 15 North Country citizens concerned with the lack of support for people with disabilities, deciding to form a committee to address these needs, continuing with the opening of Essex Industries and local group homes in 1974, never looking back from that time forward, Mountain Lake Services is a fascinating story with many chapters, many highlights, all involving inclusion, independence, and success. Mountain Lakes Services’ mission is to partner with people of all abilities to live their very best lives. Its vision is to be an inspirational model for advancing people’s journey through excellence, innovation, and connections.

Through their Integrated Business, Supported Employment, Prevocational Services, and Access-VR programs, Mountain Lake Services also operates Essex Industries, Mountain Weavers Farm Store & Guild, Mountain Lake Consignment & Engraving, and Adirondack Canoe Company.

“We are excited to be welcoming our Members, businesses, organizations, and friends to networking events. We are happy to be holding the October event in Moriah. Networking is so much more than just gathering. It is about connecting, sharing information, meeting new people, and supporting one another. This is important now more than ever. If a Member is interested in hosting a future event, please contact us at the Chamber to ensure we have you on the list for a future location,” stated Erin Mullen – TACC Member Service & Event Manager.
