Friday, May 23rd:
Silver Bay YMCA Memorial Day Weekend Celebration: Silver Bay, NY

Silver Bay’s Memorial Day Weekend Celebration will take place Friday, May 23rd through Monday, May 26th with a variety of events including food, family fun, outdoor recreational activities, crafts, games, and more.

Mount Defiance Lodge Roast Turkey Dinner: Ticonderoga, NY
Dine-in and take-out available from 4:30 – 6:00 PM.
$15.00 per dinner. The Mount Defiance Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star is located at 10 Montcalm Street in Ticonderoga, NY.
Saturday, May 24th:
Town Wide Yard Sale: Ticonderoga, NY
Sales throughout town will begin at 9:00 AM.
2025 List of Yard Sale Locations Available from the TACC Office or at www.ticonderogany.com.
*Yard Sales will take place at various homes throughout Ticonderoga as well as at the Knights of Columbus Pavilion & The Queen’s Treasures.

Annual Elks Lodge Drive Thru Chicken BBQ: Ticonderoga, NY
The Chicken BBQ will begin at 12:00 PM (until chickens are sold out).
The event will take place in the public parking lot next to the Ticonderoga Elk’s Lodge. $15.00 per dinner. The menu will include a half chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, roll, and butter. Call 518-585-2277 to reserve your dinner.
Town of Hague Memorial Day Celebration – 22nd Annual Parade & FunFest: Hague, NY
10:00 AM to 4:00 PM: FunFest at the Hague Town Park (located on Route 9N)
Music, food, crafters, vendors, White Elephant Sale, games for the family, Penelope the Clown, and bounce house. Food concessions including hot dogs, burgers, and soft drinks are being provided by the Hague Fish and Game Club. Funnel cakes and fried Oreos will be available. The Hague Volunteer Fire Department Chicken BBQ will take place following the parade.

Cambridge Band Live Concert: 12:30 PM
Phil Singer, Caricature Artist: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Games for the Whole Family: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
2:00 PM: Parade: Route 8 to Hague Town Park on Route 9N
Bands, floats, clowns, classic cars, and Fort Ticonderoga Fife and Drum Corp. The 2024 Grand Marshal is Bill Fritzky and the Senior of the Year is Tom and Charlene Schaffer. Prizes will be given for the following categories: Best In Parade, Most Creative, Most Patriotic, Best Adirondack, Most Humorous, and Best Youth, as well as Honorable Mention Adult and Youth. Winners will be announced at the Memorial Dedication Service in the Hague Town Park following the parade.

Join Fort Ticonderoga on Memorial Day weekend, to remember the service of the men and women of the armed forces of the United States who gave their all on the very grounds where so many American soldiers fought and sacrificed. Join the Fifes & Drums of Fort Ticonderoga for a special commemorative ceremony on Sunday. Experience all aspects of the life for this first American citizen-soldiers in 1775, from their weapons to their rations, and learn about what they believed would come from their sacrifice in the name of liberty. All day long, watch as these newly drafted American soldiers ply their civilian trades and help rebuild this military outpost.
