With powerful collaborations and a clear focus on strategic growth as an organization, for our Members and Partners and the Ticonderoga Area, the Chamber continues to strengthen the region it proudly serves.

The Annual Report, reviewed at the Chamber’s Annual Board Meeting, outlines progress across six Key Areas of Focus:

  • Membership: Membership Services, Growth, & Retention
  • Business: Business Services, Support, & Development
  • Tourism: Marketing, Events, & Visitor Services
  • Communication: Public, Business, & Community Relations
  • Leadership: Partnerships, Economic Development, Workforce Development, Sustainability & Advocacy

A snapshot of data and metrics—including business support and services, business inquiries, workforce development initiatives, website and social media traffic, economic development initiatives, and program participation—reflects TACC’s continued expansion and relevance. From hands-on business support and workforce connections to tourism, marketing, event and economic development leadership, TACC’s role as a regional catalyst continues to grow.

2024 was also a year of strengthened partnerships. Working with the Towns of Ticonderoga, Crown Point, Hague, and now Moriah (newly formalized in 2024), TACC continues to lead with cooperation and connection. Collaborations with organizations such as the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism, Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership, North Country Chamber of Commerce, Essex County Industrial Development Agency, Adirondack North Country Association and Center for Businesses in Transition, the Adirondack Economic Development Corporation, Small Business Development Center and the Adirondack Trail Riders to ensure the voice of the Ticonderoga Area remains strong at the county and state level. TACC also works closely with regional and local economic development partners including the North Country Rural Development Coalition.

TACC proudly welcomed new leadership in 2025 during the Annual Board Meeting; Kye Perry, Chief Financial Officer of TrailNorth Federal Credit Union, joined the Board of Directors in January, bringing financial expertise and a deep connection to the region. Katie Alexander, Owner of Ticonderoga Animal Hospital, stepped into an Executive Board role, sharing, “It’s an exciting time to be part of TACC leadership. I’m honored to help guide the organization as it celebrates its 100th year and continues to grow its impact on the local economy and community well-being.”

TACC President & CEO Matthew Courtright reflected on the year’s achievements and what lies ahead: “2024 was a year of forward progress and renewed energy. TACC has been at the heart of economic growth, community connection and business development throughout our region. Through the strength of our members and partners, supporters, volunteers, board members, ambassadors, committee chairs and committee members, and our amazing staff, we continue to look ahead. 2025 marks our 100th Anniversary and as we move into our next century, I am proud to say that our Chamber is stronger and more dynamic than ever.”
