09 Sep Town of Ticonderoga Celebrates New Pickleball & Tennis Courts with Ribbon Cutting
The Town of Ticonderoga, in coordination with the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC), is excited to celebrate the completion and opening of the new pickleball and tennis courts at Ticonderoga Recreation Park with a community ribbon cutting celebration on Monday, September 14th at 5:00 PM.
The new courts will expand recreational opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages and skill levels, providing a space for youth, families, adults and seniors to stay active, connect and enjoy the outdoors.
“The Town of Ticonderoga is excited to celebrate with the community the opening of the new pickleball and tennis courts at Ticonderoga Recreation Park! These courts will expand recreation opportunities for all ages, offering our youth a safe, active place to play and grow, giving adults, seniors and families a spot to stay fit and connect. Whatever your age or skill level, there’s a place for you on these courts,” said Town of Ticonderoga Board Member Laura Best.
This project was made possible through the generosity and hard work of community volunteers and donors who contributed their time, resources and efforts to help bring the courts to life. The Town of Ticonderoga is grateful to everyone who played a role in making this new recreational space possible.
