19 Jul Candy Corner Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting To Be Held
The Candy Corner is one of the latest additions to the developing Downtown Ticonderoga business district. The Candy Corner in coordination with the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting celebration on Thursday, August 9th, 2018 at 4:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served following the ribbon cutting. Each day of the Grand Opening Week, which will run August 6th through August 12th will feature free popcorn and free taste testing of different soda from their line of retro sodas as well as a different bargain items each day (stop in or visit The Candy Corner facebook page to find out the daily details). As always free fudge samples are available every day.

Our goal is to provide a little space where you can satisfy your sweet tooth with candies, snacks, and sodas from a time when we all thought life was simpler. A time when a nickel would get you a cold bottle of soda or a bag of your favorite candy. Unfortunately, we can’t bring back those prices, but perhaps the memories. When you visit, check out our collection of antique furniture and vintage items on display to help fuel the memories. We are thrilled to be the latest Nostalgic addition to Downtown Ticonderoga joining places like Burleigh’s Luncheonette, Star Trek Original Series Set Tour, and Ticonderoga Hidden Treasures,” shared Joe Bodette – Owner of The Candy Corner.
The Candy Corner is located at 133 Montcalm Street is owned and operated by the same owners of Bodette’s Barbecue Catering. The Candy Corner is a Downtown Candy Store featuring nostalgic & novelty candies and snacks, gift baskets, sodas, popcorn, fudge, party favors, and much more. Stop by and check out their ”Mini Museum” of vintage furniture, advertising signs and entertainment pieces. The Candy Corner is open seasonally 7 days a week from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
