International Paper Company will host the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) September After Business Mixer and Networking Event on Thursday, September 20th from 5:30 – 7:00 PM at Eddie’s Restaurant. Eddie’s Restaurant is located at 68 NYS Route 9N in Ticonderoga. Sponsors providing door prizes are Bridge Point Communication, WoodmenLife, Luke’s Wood, Upstate Agency, Wagon Wheel Restaurant, and International Paper Company.

On Saturday, September 22, 2018, candidates who have submitted applications can attend a FREE 8-hr Manufacturing Training workshop at North Country Community College’s Ticonderoga campus. This workshop is being offered to provide candidates an overview of key expectations for new hires in a manufacturing environment and help them with the interview process. Grant Applications to the International Paper Foundation are also being accepting through October 15th.
