“My brain never shuts off and I found that the services we are going to be offering are truly needed within the area. We just finalized the official testing of the barge and are ready to serve our existing and new clients. In addition to all of the local vendors we used I would like to extend my thanks to my neighbor Brian Durous for all of his engineering assistance as well as Tricia King, Tony Ohara, all of our employees, Tony from the Small Business Development Center, and the Team at the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce for all of their assistance,” shared Rick White, Owner & Operator of R.A. White Construction.
In addition to investing in his business, Owner Rick White also truly believes in investing in his community. A number of local businesses were used or coordinated with during the construction of the R.A. White Construction barge including Snug Harbor Marina, NAPA, Huddy & Co., Ticonderoga Paint & Decorating, Builders First Source, Tractor Supply, and Lake George Steamboat Company. In addition, most of the steel came from a Plattsburgh Company and they also used McClouds Lumber.
