The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) is pleased to announce that their NEW Ticonderoga Area Young Professionals Network will meet, mingle, and plan for 2020 on Thursday, January 23rd for their first event of the year. This event will take place at the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce office and will include a pot luck.
The Ticonderoga Area Young Professionals Network is a group dedicated to addressing the needs of area young professionals. TACC over the last two years has been speaking to young professionals, conducting informal surveys via employers, and listening to the community in regards to their concern of keeping young professionals in the Ticonderoga Area.
The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network originally launched in July of 2019 and hosted several gatherings throughout the year. The Young Professionals Network committee has established a vision, mission, and goals for the group. Ticonderoga Area Young Professionals Network is for young professionals ages 21-45.

Mission: This group is created to provide low stress networking events for young professionals in the Ticonderoga Area as well as providing recreation and volunteer opportunities to give back to the community in coordination with the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce.
Yearly Goals:
*Quarterly Mix and Mingle/Networking Gathering
*Two outings to either recreational opportunities or to area attractions/businesses.
*Two volunteer opportunities or participate in a larger event needing volunteers.
“The Young Professionals are the next generation who will be dedicated to and growing the community. Because of that it is imperative to have them working together now and connected to the community. Working as group directly with the Chamber allows us to understand and access all of the resources available to us and accomplish our current and future goals,” shared Anthony Anselmo, Co-Owner of The Garrison Gym/TACC Board Member/Committee Chair.
