15 Oct HalloweenFest 2020: COVID-19 Edition Schedule Announced
The Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP) and the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) are pleased to announce the schedule of events for HalloweenFest 2020: COVID-19 Edition. The Halloween celebration may not be the same as years past but the committee has worked hard to provide an array of festive events that are being hosted virtually, on your own, and by several businesses and organizations throughout the Ticonderoga Area. Reminder to follow all guidelines, wear masks, and social distance. The committee is already working on the 2021 schedule with hopes to bring back traditional aspects and much more.
Halloween Costume Contest~ October 23-31
Submit photos of you, your children or your family in your best family-friendly Halloween costumes to the TACC through Facebook messenger by October 30th at 4PM. All entries will be posted on the TACC Facebook page on Halloween. The photo that receives the most “likes” on Facebook by November 2nd will receive a $25 gift certificate to the Wind-Chill Factory!
Halloween Scavenger Hunt ~ October 24-25
Scout the Ticonderoga Area for Halloween-themed cut outs. Visit the TACC Facebook page or www.ticonderogany.com for clues and a Scavenger Hunt Passport. Return the passport to TACC by November 2 for a chance to win $50 worth of local gift certificates to Foraging Bear and Hot Biscuit Diner.
Book Signing at Ticonderoga Natural Foods Co-op ~ October 24, 12:00 – 4PM
Author, Nancy Scarzello will be at the Co-Op signing copies of her book, “Nature Through the Seasons: Essays of Lake George”.
Tromblee’s Greenhouse & Gifts Vendor Fair ~ October 24, 10AM-3PM
Stop by the Tromblee’s Greenhouse & Gifts Vendor Fair at 2961 Route 9N, Crown Point.
Vendors include Lillie Valley Farm, Ticonderoga Trading Post, Punky Noodles, Huddy & Co., Maiden by the Lake and Sweet Cals.
Pumpkin Carving Giveaway ~ October 24-25, 10AM-6PM
In lieu of our traditional Pumpkin walk, we will be providing FREE Pumpkins and carving kits for area children. Stop by the Ticonderoga Natural Food Co-op to pick up your FREE Pumpkin and Carving Kit. While Supplies Last. One Pumpkin and Kit Per Child. Halloween Riddle Trail at the Blackwatch Memorial Library ~ October 23-31
Complete the Halloween Riddle Trail and be entered into the prize raffle.

Drive-Thru Chicken BBQ ~ October 29th, 4:00PM until Sold Out
Drive-Thru Chicken BBQ at the Knights of Columbus in Ticonderoga. $12.00 – 1/2 chicken, baked potato, roll, coleslaw and dessert. Pick up behind K of C building. Please do not exit your vehicle. Halloween Home & Business Decorating Contest ~ October 30th
Make your home or business the scariest in town! To ensure your decor is judged email emullen@ticonderogany.com by October 29, 2020 at 4PM. Judging will take place on Friday, October 30, 2020. The winning home will receive a $100 gift certificate to Tromblee’s Greenhouse & Gifts and the winning business will receive $100 sponsored by Sun Community News.
Winners will be announced Monday, November 2, 2020.
Friday Night Spooktacular ~ October 30th, 6-8PM
Light your jack o’lanterns! Put on your spookiest soundtrack! It’s time to turn Ticonderoga Area into Halloweentown! “Witch” neighborhood will be the scariest? Walk your neighborhood or drive throughout the area to get into the Halloween “spirit”.
Halloween Trick or Treating
October 26-30
In lieu of coordinated Trick or Treating at Ticonderoga businesses, area children are welcome to stop by the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce office to pick up a Trick or Treat Goody Bag Sponsored by the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce and the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership. While supplies last.

Community Trick or Treating will take place as usual throughout the Towns of Ticonderoga, Hague, Crown Point, Moriah & Putnam
The Towns of Ticonderoga & Moriah will hold trick or treating from 5-7PM.
