13 Apr 2022 National Small Business Week – Growing A Positive Community
The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) is pleased to announce their schedule for the 2022 National Small Business Week Celebration which will take place May 1st – 7th, 2022. The Chamber will host a number of events and services aimed at supporting TACC Members and small businesses. In addition, the Chamber is encouraging community members to THINK LOCAL (Shop – Spend – Support) throughout the week. The theme for the week in the Ticonderoga Area is “Growing A Positive Community.”

Monday, May 2nd:
Essex County Industrial Development Agency Open House: Learn about ECIDA Business Services: 1:00 – 3:00 PM: TACC Office
Get to know TACC Partner, the Essex County Industrial Development Agency, the services and support they provide to the businesses & communities throughout Essex County, including financing options and programs, and business incentives. Also hear about how they support local economic development efforts. No appointments required.

Tuesday, May 3rd:
Window Decorating & Display Workshop: Learn Tips & Tricks To Create A Welcoming Atmosphere: 8:00 – 9:00 AM: TACC Office
A great display window or front entrance is the easiest and least expensive way to pique the interest of potential customers as well as welcome your existing customers. Join Juniper Design, LLC for this workshop to learn tips and tricks to create a welcoming atmosphere. This workshop is with the support of the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership.

Small Business Student Outreach Day: Part of Chloe Baker’s Senior Project
12:45 PM – 2:45 PM: Downtown Ticonderoga
As part of Chole Baker’s Senior Project, Ticonderoga High School Students will be visiting small businesses in Downtown Ticonderoga. Students will have an opportunity to tour several businesses, hear from the owners or managers, learn about entrepreneurship, and what products and services are available in their community. Say hello to the students as they visit Small Businesses.

The Director of Health Insurance Services is here to assist you with all of your Health Insurance needs.
