09 Jan Solar Eclipse Meeting To Be Held For Area Businesses
A total solar eclipse will take place on Monday, April 8th, 2024 in the Adirondacks. This will be the first time the region has been in the direct path of totality, and after 2024 the United Sates will not see another total solar eclipse for over 20 years.
Area businesses and organizations including lodging properties, restaurants, and retailers are invited to attend a virtual meeting (via Zoom) with the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism and the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, January 25th at 3:00 PM.
Businesses and organizations in attendance will learn about important information in regards to the solar eclipse, valuable business resources, as well as how to get engaged in this event. Pre-registration is required via the TACC website. All registrants will receive the Zoom link for the meeting an hour prior to the scheduled time.
