The third Annual Summer of Beautification will take place in 2022. The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC), the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP), and the Town of Ticonderoga are pleased to announce there will be a Summer of Beautification again with a theme of “Show Your Community Pride.”  A number of projects, clean-up activities, and events will take place throughout June, July, and August making Ticonderoga better and more beautiful. The New York State (NYS) Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) is a state program designed to foster the transformation of community centers and propel them into a new age of sustained prosperity. The DRI typically provides substantial funding to an individual community and their downtown to continue efforts to create vibrant centers for community members and visitors alike. In the past this program has provided $10 million dollars to the winning communities. An anchor business is nearing the completion of a massive renovation, expansion, and investment at their restaurant in Downtown Ticonderoga. Burleigh’s Luncheonette located at 121 Montcalm Street will mark the completion of their renovation project with a Ribbon Cutting Celebration in coordination with the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, May 12th at 5:00 PM.
