The Ticonderoga Best 4th In The North Committee, a subcommittee of the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP) is thrilled to announce their Annual Fundraiser “Best 4th In The North Night” at The Pub (Madden’s Pub) in Downtown Ticonderoga has returned. This event will take place on Saturday, April 30th, 2022 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. This event has become one of the committee’s biggest fundraisers of the year. Raffles and drawings will take place. Best 4th In The North items will also be for sale.
Join in the festivities and help raise money for the Best 4th In The North celebration from the tips the guest bartenders receive. All proceeds will benefit the Best 4th In The North Celebration. During the event the committee plans to announce the 2022 Grand Marshal of the parade.
The current list of Guest bartenders will include:
6:00 – 7:00 PM: Bob Dedrick & Tom Dedrick
7:00 – 8:00 PM: Mickey Fitzgerald & Chuck Gijanto
8:00 – 9:00 PM: Bobby Porter & Nathan Belanger

“We encourage you to participate in as many fundraisers for the Celebration as possible. Without the support of our area businesses and community members the celebration we all enjoy and has become a Ticonderoga tradition would not be possible. The celebration costs approximately $30,000 – $32,000 each year. The Town of Ticonderoga does support the celebration but most of the budget needed is raised by the committee. Donations in support of the committee’s efforts are tax-deductible. We would also like to thank Madden’s Pub for their support, for hosting this fundraising event, being a TACC Member as we work very closely with TACC,” shared Debbie Barber – Committee Chairperson.
The Best 4th In the North Celebration attracts many visitors to the Ticonderoga area every year which supports local businesses and the local economy. A schedule for the 2022 celebration is currently being finalized by the committee. The 2022 Best 4th In The North Celebration will take place July 1-4, 2012 with a grand fireworks display, parade, Montcalm Mile, music, food, vendors, rides, games and much more.
The committee is always working to add new vendors, new food options, live music and other events as part of the celebration. They are in the process of finalizing the line up of entertainment for the four days. Although these additions will increase the overall cost the committee wants to continue to grow the celebration.
In addition, the committee is looking for businesses, organizations, committees, local bands, and musicians who would like to participate in the parade. The theme for the 2022 Best 4th In The North parade is “Christmas In July.” Parade applications are available at www.timainstreet.org or at the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce office.
The Best 4th In The North Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:00 PM at the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce office in Ticonderoga. The committee is in need of more volunteers to help with the planning, fundraising and during the celebration.
