The Ticonderoga Best 4th In The North Committee, a subcommittee of the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP) is thrilled to announce their annual fundraiser, “Best 4th In The North Night” at The Pub will take place at Maddens Pub on Saturday, April 12th, 2025 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. This event has become one of the committee’s biggest fundraisers. The list of guest bartenders will be announced on the Best 4th In The North Facebook page.
Join in the festivities and help raise money for the Best 4th In The North celebration from the tips the guest bartenders receive. All proceeds will benefit the Best 4th In The North Celebration. During the event the committee plans to announce the 2025 Grand Marshal of the Best 4th In The North Parade. There will be a limited food menu available until 8:00 PM.
“We encourage you to participate in as many fundraisers for the celebration as possible. Without the support of our area businesses and community members the celebration would not be possible. The celebration costs up to $52,000 each year. The Town of Ticonderoga does support the celebration, but most of the budget is raised by the committee through fundraisers. Donations in support of the committee’s efforts are tax-deductible. We would also like to thank Maddens Pub for their continued support and for being a Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) Member as we work very closely with the Chamber,” shared Debbie Barber – Committee Chairperson/TMSP Board Member.
The Best 4th In The North Celebration attracts many visitors to the Ticonderoga Area every year which supports local businesses and the local economy. A schedule for the 2025 celebration is currently being finalized by the committee. The 2025 Best 4th In The North Celebration will take place July 1-4, 2025 with a grand fireworks display, parade, Montcalm Mile, kids’ zone, music, food, vendors, etc. The committee is always working to add new aspects as part of the celebration. In addition, the committee is looking for businesses, organizations, committees, local bands, and musicians who would like to participate in the parade. The Best 4th In The North Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month at the TACC office. The committee needs more volunteers to help with the planning, fundraising and during the celebration.
