2023 Chamber of Commerce Week Schedule of Programs & Services
The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) is excited to announce the schedule of programs, services, and events for their 2023 Chamber of Commerce Week. The TACC Team has been working hard to bring needed services, programs, and support to the Ticonderoga Area business community.
Chamber of Commerce Week 2023 – TACC Schedule
Monday, September 11th:
Ticonderoga Microenterprise Grant Public Meeting
6:00 PM: Town of Ticonderoga Community Building
The Town of Ticonderoga, the ECIDA, and TACC will share important information on this new business grant program being funded by the Town of Ticonderoga via Essex County Occupancy Tax Funds.
Topics will include eligibility requirements and criteria, eligible use for funds, the program process, required training, financial assistance, the timeline, as well as business support and assistance that will be available for applicants. Tuesday, September 12th:
Small Business Development Center Services Relaunch
10:00 AM – 3:00 PM: TACC Office
Small Business Development Support & Services provided by the SUNY Canton SBDC at Clinton Community College will relaunch at the TACC office as part of Chamber of Commerce Week.
The SBDC offers an array of free business services to existing businesses and those interested in starting a business. The SBDC is a TACC Partner agency. Appointments are required. Contact Dale Rice, SBDC Business Advisor at 315-386-7312 or make an appointment online at www.canton.edu/sbdc.
Wednesday, September 13th:
Health Insurance Services Open House
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: TACC Office
Health Insurance Services provided by the North Country Chamber of Commerce in coordination with the TACC will be available. Stop by to speak to Lisa Bedard-Dupee, Director of Health Insurance Services who will be available to meet with Members and others who need assistance/guidance. Appointments are recommended and can be made by calling Lisa at 518-563-1000. Refreshments will be served.
Thursday, September 14th:
Women in Business Workshop
4:30 PM to 6:00 PM: TACC Office
Join the Adirondack Economic Development Corporation and the TACC to learn how to best leverage resources for your business! This includes state resources for Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBE), the process of becoming a NYS Certified WBE and the benefits, assistance, tips for success and free counseling. Friday, September 15th:
Membership Optimization Open House
10:00 AM to 2:00 PM: TACC Office
Members, as well as Not-Yet Members are invited to connect and learn more about the Chamber, Membership Benefits, upcoming events, programs & services, and how they can maximize their Membership Investment as well as learn all about what their investment is supporting. You will also be able to meet Team TACC to learn about economic development efforts. Refreshments will be served.
Saturday, September 16th:
Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market: Family Fun Day
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market
Stop by the Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market in Downtown Ticonderoga for local produce, products, special events & vendors, live music and Kids Corner. This is a must do event every Saturday! The market and parking will be behind Glens Falls National Bank, just off Montcalm Street.

The program and services being offered are also part of the TACC ongoing Small Towns – Big Opportunities initiative focused on economic development, business retention and recruitment, as well as promoting the Ticonderoga Area as Small Towns with Big Opportunities to work, grow, live, and succeed.
TACC will also kick off their 2023 Fall/End of Year Membership Drive as part of the 2023 Chamber of Commerce Week.
