Co-Op To Host February Networking Event

The Ticonderoga Natural Foods Co-Op in Downtown Ticonderoga will host the next Ticonderoga area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) Networking Event. The February After Business Mixer will take place on Thursday, February 8th from 5:30 – 7:00 PM. The Ticonderoga Natural Foods Co-Op is located at 111 Montcalm Street (PRIDE of Ticonderoga building). Sponsors providing door prizes are Bridge Point Communication, Christopher Chevrolet Buick, Commerce Park Self Storage, and the Wagon Wheel Restaurant.

“The Ticonderoga Natural Foods Co-Op is pleased to be hosting a warm and cozy pre-Valentine’s mixer. We are extremely proud of the work the Chamber of Commerce has done here in the Ticonderoga Area. We see a great future for this wonderful region. Businesses need to work together to make our town and area strong and live up to our potential. The Chamber is the four wheel drive vehicle that will get us where we need to go (especially when it’s -25 and we have a foot of snow). We live here, we are your neighbors, we freeze and thaw and hunker down. We do not melt. For a business in the winter here it takes survival tools to thrive. The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce is a survival tool that must be utilized by their Members,” stated Penny Monjeau – Ticonderoga Natural Foods Co-Op Manager.

The Co-Op invites fellow Chamber Members, businesses, and organizations to come in from the cold and enjoy local maple cocktail and local and organic snacks as part of the networking event.

The Chamber’s “After Business Mixers” provide a networking forum for Chamber Members and area business people in addition to showcasing the site of the host as well as promoting the door prize sponsors. Networking is a key component of Chamber membership and marketing your business. Chamber members, area businesses, and organizations are encouraged to take advantage of this and all networking opportunities. Join the Chamber to reconnect with area businesses and organizations, meet new people, and take advantage of the opportunity to hear from the hosts. In addition use this opportunity to share information with the Chamber and get to know all of our local businesses and organizations.

“Networking is so important when you own or represent a business or organization. We invite TACC Members, their employees or representatives to join us on February 8th to network and get to know the Ticonderoga Natural Foods Co-Op. You will have a chance to hear from our hosts, as well as connect with fellow Chamber Members, businesses, and organizations,” shared Matthew Courtright – TACC Executive Director.

The Ticonderoga Natural Food Co-Op is a member owned, board (volunteer) run, manager operated local grocery store which is open to the public and open year round. They offer choices for different dietary needs from local and regional sources and distributors. Products include local and organic produce, local roasted organic coffee, local tea, cage free eggs, glass bottled old fashioned milk, artisan local cheeses, kombucha on tap, grass fed beef, local VT poultry, local honey and maple syrup, local bread, organic breads from the Vermont Bread Company, local yogurt from North Country Creamery, local jams and jellies, local chocolate, local pasta and sauces, global cuisine options, vegan, paleo, and gluten free.
