Employment Opportunities Day: Focus on Seasonal Employment Opportunities

Employment Opportunities Day: Focus on Seasonal Employment Opportunities

The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) will host an Employment Opportunities Day on Monday, March 25th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM focused on seasonal employment opportunities. As part of this event, TACC will be promoting their Employment Opportunities program as the go-to resource for job, career, and employment opportunities information. Current TACC Employment Opportunities Program sponsors included National Grid and WorkADK Powered by the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism (ROOST).

On March 25th, those seeking employment, and in particular seasonal employment, will be able to come meet with the TACC Employment Opportunities Coordinator to learn how to navigate the Ticonderoga Area Employment Opportunities online database and find opportunities that match their skills and interests. Multiple work stations will be available for job seekers to explore an array of employment opportunities. Additional TACC staff members will also be available to provide assistance. The TACC Team will also provide resume assistance, if needed. In addition, the Chamber is teaming up with local employers to offer mock interviews to help sharpen interview skills.  Complimentary refreshments sponsored by PRIDE of Ticonderoga will be available. All participants will also be able to enter to win a door prize. The TACC Office is located at 94 Montcalm Street, Suite 1 in Ticonderoga, NY.

“TACC is encouraging people to really explore the opportunities available in the Ticonderoga Area and in particular upcoming seasonal opportunities. Together we need to ensure our businesses have employees to succeed and we are creating an environment where job seekers are comfortable accessing resources available to them. Please stop by the TACC Office, enjoy a cup of coffee, have a snack, enter to win prizes, and most importantly explore job and career opportunities available in the Ticonderoga Area,” shared Megan Bambara – TACC Employment Opportunities Coordinator.

TACC Members and Partners are encouraged to contact the Chamber or submit their job opportunities (seasonal and year-round) via your Chamber Master Member Log In or by emailing coordinator@ticonderogany.com to ensure all your employment opportunities are listed within our online database.
