Fort Ticonderoga To Host April Networking Event

Fort Ticonderoga will host the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) April After Business Mixer and Networking Event in coordination with Seymour’s Restaurant on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. The event will take place at the Fort Ticonderoga Pavilion and King’s Garden. Fort Ticonderoga is located at 102 Fort Ti Road in Ticonderoga, NY.

Important Update For The April Networking Event at Fort Ticonderoga:
Event attendees are asked to use Fort Ticonderoga’s EXIT to enter the event. The gate and arm at the stone gatehouse will be open, allowing you Guests to enter. Proceed past the Log House and down the hill. Follow signs for the King’s Garden. Parking is available in the King’s Garden parking lot.

The mixer will not only be an opportunity to network, but for Fort Ticonderoga to showcase the renovations and enhancements to the Pavilion as well as highlight all that the King’s Garden has to offer. Sponsors providing door prizes for the event are the Best Western/Burgoyne Grill, Burleigh’s Luncheonette, Five Nations Golf, Julie & Co. Realty, and Timeless Boats.

Complimentary snacks and beverages will be served.

The Chamber’s “After Business Mixers and Networking Events” provide a networking forum for Chamber Members, area business people, and organizations. In addition, the networking events provide an opportunity to showcase the host as well as promote the door prize sponsors. Myth: I don’t have time to go to After Business Mixers.
Busted: You don’t have to be there from 5:30 – 7:00. Stop by for 15 or 20 minutes and make some great new contacts.

Myth: It’s awkward…I won’t know anybody there.
Busted: Ask for a Chamber Ambassador or Board Member when you arrive. These outgoing volunteers will introduce you to the crowd and then you will know lots of people. You can also connect with an Ambassador, Board Member, or TACC Staff Member ahead of time.

Myth: I don’t need to go – I’m on social media.
Busted: There is no substitute for face-to-face networking. People do business with people they know…so come to After Hours and get to know more people.
