28 Oct Fox and Fern – Adirondack Mercantile Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Celebration To Be Held
Fox and Fern – Adirondack Mercantile recently opened in Downtown Ticonderoga. A Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting celebration in coordination with the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce will be held on Thursday, November 14th at 4:30 PM. Light refreshments including samples of products available in the store will be served following the ribbon cutting. You will also have the opportunity to check out all the new store has to offer. During the celebration Fox and Fern will also have an array of free gifts and giveaways.
In addition to the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce, representatives from the Town of Ticonderoga and the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership will participate in the event. Fox and Fern – Adirondack Mercantile is located at119 Montcalm Street in Ticonderoga and is locally owned and operated by Lynne Reale and Mariann Rapple.
“We want to make a positive impact on our community. Great things are continuing to happen in Ticonderoga and we are honored to be another piece of that puzzle. Fox and Fern came to be when the decision was made to fill an empty store front on Montcalm Street. We wanted to create a place where the community can shop and find unique gifts for everyone in their household, including Fido! It is part of our mission to carry items that cannot be found in other shops in town. We also want to support businesses within the Adirondack Park. The store is home to gifts made within our park and within our community,” shared Lynne Reale & Mariann Rapple – Owners & Operators of Fox and Fern – Adirondack Mercantile.
The team looked for items with a unique flair. Toys that don’t require batteries, items made in the USA, ecologically friendly products and locally sourced goods. It was their hope to add another retail option to the shopping experience in Ticonderoga. Fox and Fern has a selection of unique Tees and clothing, beautiful and unusual wood furniture and custom etched glassware all designed and made for them by young Ticonderoga graduates! Ticonderoga and the word community go hand in hand. It is their hope that they have created a place where the community and it’s visitors can find something that will bring them joy.
