Hague Winter Weekend Schedule of Events & Activities

The Annual Town of Hague Winter Weekend will be held Friday,  February 16th through Sunday, February 18th, 2024 with an array of events and activities taking place throughout the community. This celebration is a must do event in Hague, NY each winter.

Friday, February 16th:

4:30 – 9:00 PM: Silver Bay YMCA Winter Weekend Activities

Ongoing Activities: Ice Carving, Coffee, Hot Cocoa, Games,  Puzzles, Coloring, Disc Golf, Snowshoeing, and Gift Shop. Visit www.silverbay.org or call 518-543-8833 for more information.

4:30 – 9:00 PM: Mountain View Grille Open

7:00 – 8:00 PM: Rock Wall Bouldering

7:30 – 8:30 PM: Trivia Night In The Store

8:00 – 9:00 PM: Rock Wall Vertical Climbing

Saturday, February 17th:  

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Hague Firemen’s Breakfast – Hague Fire Department

Breakfast at the Hague Volunteer Fire Department located on West Hague Road. Breakfast will be a $12.00 donation for adults and $6.00 for kids (ages 13 and under).

10:00 AM – 9:00 PM: Silver Bay YMCA Winter Weekend Activities

10:00 – 11:30 AM: Broomball

10:00 – 11:30 AM: Indoor Arts and Crafts

1:00 – 2:00 PM: Sledding and Sled Bowling

2:00 – 3:00 PM: Cookie Decorating

2:00- 4:00 PM: Journey To Somewhere Snowshoe Hike

3:00 – 5:00 PM: Paint and Sip (21 and older event)

7:00 – 9:00 PM: Pajama Movie Night

1:00 PM: WinterFest Events – Hague Fish & Game Club

Winter Games & Activities at the Hague Fish & Game Club located on West Hague Road.

1:00 PM: All Day Bonfire, Hot Cocoa, and Sliding.

1:30 PM: Kids Coloring Activity.

1:30 PM: Giant Jenga Challenge.

*Two towers with teams of four (2 adults and 2 kids), final team standing will win a $50.00 gift card.

2:15 PM: Adult and Kids Frying Pan Toss.

*Each contest gets two throws of your frying pans. Categories include adult women, adult men, and children (12 and under). Winners will receive a 2024/2025 HF&G Membership and shirt.

3:00 PM: The Ever-Favorite Chainsaw Challenge

*Bring your own stock saw. Timed event, first to go through three full slices move on. Winner gets bragging rights, $100, and HF&G shirt.

3:30 PM: Kids Snowman Building Activity.

5:30 PM: Spaghetti Dinner.

*$15.00 donation per person. Eat-in or take-out.

7:00 – 10:00 PM: Live Music Featuring Rich Ortiz.

The Hague Fish & Game Club WinterFest events will end with a small fireworks display. A 50/50 drawing will also take place to benefit the Beste Scholarship Fund. Some event aspects are weather permitting.

Sunday, February 18th:

10:00 AM – 10:00 PM: Silver Bay YMCA Winter Weekend Activities

10:00 – 11:00 AM: Sunday Worship Service

1:00 – 2:00 PM: Snowball Battleship and Sledding

2:00 – 3:00 PM: Cookie Decorating

2:00 – 4:00 PM: Create Your Own Spiritual Journey Map

3:00 – 5:00 PM: Paint and Sip (21 and older event)

7:00 – 10:00 PM: Switch Concert

2:00 PM: Polar Plunge – Trout House Village Resort Dock

Plunge will take place at 2:00 PM. Registration is at 1:30 PM. $5.00 to jump and $15.00 for a shirt. All proceeds will go toward the Vermont Children’s Hospital in Honor of Katy Wells. Free hot chocolate and coffee to follow at the Hague Fire Department.

4:00 – 8:00 PM: Chili Cook Off – Hague Volunteer Fire Department

The Chili Cook Off will take place at the Hague Fire Department located on West Hague Road from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.  Top 3 prizes will be awarded. All chili must be dropped off by 1:30 PM on February 18th. There is a $15.00 donation for admission. In addition to chili sampling, hamburgers, hotdogs, water, and soda will be available. Entertainment will be provided. All proceeds will go toward the Vermont Children’s Hospital in Honor of Katy Wells.
