HalloweenFest 2023 – Happy Halloween

The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) and the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP) are pleased to announce the schedule of events for HalloweenFest from October 20th to October 31st, 2023. The traditional Halloween celebration has expanded in several ways and the committee is hoping to continue the growth for the community and visitors.

Friday, October 20th

6:30 – 8:30 PM: Halloween Movie “Hocus Pocus” – Downtown Ticonderoga

Free movie at the Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market location behind Glens Falls National. Bring your camp chair or blanket. Popcorn & beverages provided. Free event by Ticonderoga Elks & Peak Force Cheer.

8:00 – 11:00 PM: Haunted House – Silver Bay YMCA

Something spooky is going on inside Paine Hall when the sun goes down. Grab a buddy & come see what all the spookiness is about. Event will also take place on October 13th and 27th.

Saturday, October 21st

Live Music Events In The Ticonderoga Area

Enjoy live music at Ledge Hill Brewing in Ticonderoga from 7-9 PM & at War Cannon Spirits in Crown Point starting at 7 PM.

Tuesday, October 24th

3:30 PM: Pumpkin Decorating – North Country Community College Ticonderoga Campus

Decorate a pumpkin, grab some refreshments & enjoy some Halloween festivities! Free event by NCCC Ticonderoga Team.

Wednesday, October 25th

4:30 PM: TMSP Chicken BBQ – Ticonderoga Knights of Columbus

$15 per person includes 1/2 chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, roll & dessert. Live Music by Dan Rabideau until 7 PM. Cash Bar, dine-in only. Call the K of C at 518-585-6520 to reserve your dinner. To benefit Downtown Ticonderoga Events.

Friday, October 27th

5:30 PM: Haunted History Tour – Crown Point State Historic Site

Drownings, shadowy figures in the barracks, & sea monster sightings. Hear all about them as you follow a storyteller on a twilight walk through the historic site. Cider & donuts at 5:30 PM. Tour at 5:45 PM. Free Event. Rain date October 30th.

7:00 PM: “Paranormal Hancock”- Hancock House, Ticonderoga Historical Society

This Halloween program is back with a twist! Shiver with spine-tingling chills as a paranormal investigation team takes a look at their most intriguing & terrifying investigations in the area. Free event by the Ticonderoga Historical Society.

8:00 PM: Halloween Party – Employees Mutual Association

Dress up in your costume & join the EMA for a spooky night out! DJ Jazzy Jake will be playing music.

Saturday, October 28th

11:00 AM: Nappy’s Puppets Halloween Performance – Ticonderoga Community Building

Children & families are invited to join the Ticonderoga Festival Guild for a fun-filled family Halloween

themed Puppet show at the Ticonderoga Community Building, Lachute Hall. Free event by the Ticonderoga Festival Guild.

1:00 – 3:00 PM: Hague Trunk-or-Treat – Hague Community Center Parking Lot

Free Trick or Treating for youth of all ages at the Town of Hague Community Center.

6:30 – 8:30 PM: Pumpkin Walk & Campfire – Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park

Jack-O-Lanterns will be displayed around the park for all to enjoy. Pumpkins from area farmers will be carved by local schools & the community. Hot Cider & treats available for purchase. Free event by Ti Natural Foods Co-Op, TACC, & TMSP.

7:00 – 9:00 PM: Teen Halloween Dance – Silver Bay YMCA Ticonderoga Teen Center

Free & open to local 6th-12th graders. Music, a photo booth, & snacks. Costumes are encouraged.

7:00 PM: Halloween Party –  War Cannon Spirits

Enjoy a festive Halloween Party with live music by The Accusers at War Cannon Spirits in Crown Point.

7:00 – 9:00 PM: Halloween Gathering at Ledge Hill Brewing Co.

Join Ledge Hill Brewing Co. in Ticonderoga for some Halloween fun including live Blues Music by Bill Ellis.

7:00 – 11:00 PM: Halloween Party at the Barns at Edgemont Inn

Enjoy a spooky night out. 21 & over event. Cash bar, spooky cocktails, & costume contest.

Monday, October 30th

6:00 PM:  Black Watch Memorial Library Halloween Children’s Program

Children & families are invited to enjoy “spooky” stories in the dark at the library in Downtown Ticonderoga. Free event.

6:30 PM: Zombie Fun Run – Location TBA

Join the Ticonderoga Boy Scouts for a mile run in a scary costume. 6:30 PM check-in. $5 per runner.

Tuesday, October 31st

3:15 – 5:00 PM: Trick or Treating – Downtown Ticonderoga & Area Businesses

Candy will be available from participating businesses, organizations, & at the Ticonderoga Community Building. The Adirondack Dancing Witches will perform a fun filled Halloween dance at 4:30 PM down Montcalm Street (donations for this performance to benefit the local food pantry). Montcalm Street will be closed from Sunshine Laundry to the Ticonderoga Heritage Museum (just after 3:00 PM until 5:15 PM). No rain date. Free event by TMSP & TACC.

4:00 – 6:30 PM: Crown Point Trunk or Treating – Veterans Memorial Park

FREE trick or treating for youth of all ages. Community is encouraged to decorate your vehicle to hand out candy.
