HalloweenFest 2026 – Happy Halloween!

The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) and the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP) are excited to announce the full schedule of events for HalloweenFest 2026, taking place October 23rd through October 31st, 2026. This annual community celebration brings together local businesses, organizations, and community partners for a week of Halloween fun, family activities, entertainment, and events throughout the Ticonderoga Area.

The HalloweenFest Committee looks forward to welcoming residents and visitors to enjoy this growing community tradition, with something spooky, festive, and fun for all ages!

Friday, October 23rd

7:00 PM: Haunted Hancock – Lower Adirondack Regional Center for History

Join the Lower Adirondack Regional Center for History for its annual Halloween program featuring tales of the paranormal that have taken place within the boundaries of the Adirondack Park.

7:30 – 8:30 PM: Zombie Trail – Silver Bay YMCA

Take on the Zombie Trail at Silver Bay YMCA for a spooky evening of thrills. The event will also take place October 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 30th.

Saturday, October 24th

10:00 AM: Harvest Halloween Festival and Fright Nights at the Farm – Hunter Way Farm

Spend the day at Hunter Way Farm for its annual Harvest Halloween Festival featuring local crafts, baked goods, and food vendors, a kids craft station, and a FREE Costume Contest Parade at 3:00 PM. The Fright Night Kids Festival runs from 3:30-6:00 PM with family-friendly games, meet & greets, face painting, a bouncy house, and more ($5/person). AREA 518 Behind-the-Scenes Tours will be offered from 4:00-5:00 PM ($5/person). The Scary Trail runs from 7:00-11:00 PM ($15/person; $10 for children 10 and under) and will also take place Friday, October 23rd from 7:00-10:00 PM.

5:30 PM: Haunted History Tour – Crown Point State Historic Site

Drownings, shadowy figures in the barracks, and sea monster sightings! Follow a storyteller on a twilight walk through the historic site while hearing some of the area’s most chilling tales. Cider and donuts will be served at 5:30 PM, with the tour beginning at 5:45 PM. Free event. Rain date October 25th.

6:00 – 9:00 PM: Seymour’s Restaurant End of Season Party – Ticonderoga Golf Course

Join Seymour’s Restaurant for its End of Season Party featuring the Chrissie Romano Band! Enjoy live music, good food, and a fun night out as the season comes to a close.

6:15 PM: Adirondack Dancing Witches Performance – Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park

Catch the Adirondack Dancing Witches before the Pumpkin Walk for a spirited performance filled with dance, laughter, and festive fun – no tricks, just treats!

6:30 – 8:00 PM: Pumpkin Walk & Campfire – Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park

Enjoy a beautiful display of jack-o-lanterns throughout the park, with pumpkins carved by local schools, farmers, and community members. Refreshments will be available, along with a campfire and fun with DJ Jazzy Jake. Be sure to arrive early for the Adirondack Dancing Witches at 6:15 PM. Free event presented by Ticonderoga Natural Foods Co-Op, Ticonderoga Festival Guild, TACC, and TMSP.

7:00 – 9:00 PM: Haunted House – Silver Bay YMCA

Something spooky is going on inside “Pain”e Hall when the sun goes down! Come see what all the spookiness is about. The event will also take place October 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 31st.

Sunday, October 25th

9:30 AM – 5:00 PM: REAL TIME REVOLUTION® Battle Reenactment: Hold the Line for Liberty – Fort Ticonderoga

Fort Ticonderoga’s REAL TIME REVOLUTION® living history event will dramatically recreate one of the greatest Continental Army victories of 1776. Experience the moment soldiers and militiamen at Ticonderoga held the line for liberty and helped shape the course of the American Revolution. Event also takes place October 24th.

Monday, October 26th & Tuesday, October 27th

Spooktacular Decorating Contest!

Show us your best Halloween decorations. Send a photo of your spooky setup to adminassistant@ticonderogany.com. Could be homes, businesses, porches, storefronts, etc. The winner will be picked on Tuesday, October 27th at 3:00 PM.

Wednesday, October 28th

3:30 – 5:30 PM: Trunk or Treat – Mountain Lake Consignment

Join Mountain Lake Consignment for its 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat and enjoy an afternoon of community, costumes, and Halloween fun!

4:30 PM: TMSP Fish Fry Fundraiser – Ticonderoga Knights of Columbus

Enjoy a $15 dinner including fried fish, fries, and coleslaw. Cash bar, dine-in or take-out. Call the Knights of Columbus at 518-585-6520 to reserve. Proceeds benefit Downtown Ticonderoga events.

Thursday, October 29th

First Annual Downtown Ticonderoga Fall Clean-Up Day – Montcalm Street

The Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership invites local businesses and organizations to help spruce up downtown Ticonderoga during the first annual Fall Clean-Up Day. Volunteers can sign up for one-hour or longer time slots, with projects varying throughout the downtown area. To participate, email tmsp@timainstreet.org or call 518-585-6619.

Friday, October 30th

3:15 – 5:00 PM: Trick or Treating – Downtown Ticonderoga & Area Businesses

Bring the kids downtown for an afternoon of trick-or-treating with participating businesses and organizations, the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce, and TMSP at the Ticonderoga Community Building.

Montcalm Street will be closed from Sunshine Laundry to the Heritage Museum from 3:05–5:15 PM. Enjoy Halloween music and fun in front of the TACC office. No rain date. Free event presented by TMSP and TACC.

5:00 – 6:00 PM: Free Children’s Halloween Party – Ticonderoga American Legion Post 224

Join the Ticonderoga American Legion for a FREE Halloween party featuring hot dogs, chips, juice, cookies, and a costume contest with prizes! Open to the public.

8:00 PM: Halloween Party – Employees Mutual Association

Dress up in your favorite costume and join the Employees Mutual Association for a spooky night out! Costume prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Entertainment by DJ Jazzy Jake. 21 and older event.

Saturday, October 31st

4:00 – 6:30 PM: Crown Point Trunk or Treat – Veterans Memorial Park

FREE trick-or-treating for youth of all ages! The community is encouraged to decorate a vehicle and join in the fun by handing out candy.
