Holiday Mix & Mingle Networking Event

Holiday Mix & Mingle Networking Event

The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce December After Business Mixer and Networking Event will return to the Hancock House home of the Lower Adirondack Regional Center For History (LARCH) on Thursday, December 12th, 2024 from 5:30 – 7:00 PM. The annual Holiday Mix & Mingle is an opportunity for Chamber Members and the Ticonderoga Area Business Community to gather during the holiday season as well as experience the magical Festival of Trees. The Hancock House is located at 6 Moses Circle in Ticonderoga, NY.

Sponsors providing door prizes will be Burleigh’s Luncheonette, Fox & Fern Adirondack Mercantile, Hot Biscuit Diner, and Ti Automotive.

“LARCH is pleased to continue the tradition of hosting the TACC Holiday Mix & Mingle each December. We have been honored to do this over the years as it also helps us to showcase our Festival of Trees and support our very active area Chamber of Commerce. The business community continues to show their support of the Hancock House and LARCH. We are thankful we can take this opportunity at this special time of the year to open the Hancock House and share our thanks with them,” shared Bill Dolback, LARCH Board President.

The Chamber’s “After Business Mixers” provide a networking forum for Chamber Members, area business people, and organizations. In addition, the networking events provide an opportunity to showcase the host as well as promote the door prize sponsors. Networking and connecting with other Chamber Members is a key component of Chamber membership and marketing your business. Chamber members, area businesses, and organizations are encouraged to take advantage of this and all networking opportunities. Join the Chamber to connect with area businesses and organizations, meet new people, and take advantage of the opportunity to hear from the hosts.

The Hancock House is home to the LARCH, formerly the Ticonderoga Historical Society. Founded in 1897 and chartered in 1909, they advanced the preservation and interpretation of history through their collections, programs, and community outreach, preserving the areas past for the future. LARCH makes area history an integral part of community life by connecting past and present. The Hancock House is a museum, research library, and gift shop. They also plan and host several events and programs throughout the year. The LARCH is a not-for-profit organization.

The Hancock House will have four floors of the elegant mansion decorated for the holiday season as part of their Festival of Trees. The trees will be on display through December. The Hancock House is open between 10 am and 4 pm Wednesday through Saturday.

“We hope to see many Ticonderoga Area Chamber Members, area businesses, and organizations at the Holiday Mix & Mingle Event on December 12th. Come enjoy snacks, desserts, reconnect with one another, meet new people, and enjoy the Festival of Trees. Join us for this festive evening to finish the year strong by strengthening relationships and making new connections for the new year ahead. Not only is it a perfect opportunity to network but a chance to see the Hancock House and celebrate the holiday season with the Chamber and the business community,” stated TACC President & CEO, Matthew Courtright.
