05 Jun Low-Cost Electronics Recycling Available June 17th – Beautification Efforts Underway
The Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership with support from the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC), and the Town of Ticonderoga are pleased to announce that Low-Cost Electronics Recycling will be available on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This event will take place in the Town of Ticonderoga Public Parking Lot next to the Ticonderoga Elks Lodge.
Recycle your old electronics equipment! Good Point Recycling from Middlebury, VT will be available from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Items Accepted: TVs ($10-$20), Computer Monitors ($20-$30), CPU’s ($5), Small Fax Machines ($5), Small Printers ($5), Small Copiers ($10-$20), Small Scanners ($5-$10), Stereo Equipment ($5-$15), Radios ($5), VCR’s ($5), DVD Players ($5), AC Units ($20-$30), Key Boards (Free), Computer Mice (Free), and Computer & Electronic Cords/Wires (Free). Additional items may be accepted. Speak to a Good Point Staff Member on June 17th for details and pricing. Good Point does not accept any large appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, or stoves, as well as batteries, light bulbs, smoke detectors, or mercury containing items. Clean-up and beautification projects have been happening and will continue throughout the Summer. Follow TACC & TMSP facebook pages! Volunteers are needed. Contact the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce office at 518-585-6619. Businesses, organizations, and community members are encouraged to join the beautification effort by sprucing up your properties and buildings.
Free Tire Collection Day is June14th from 1-3 PM for Essex County Residents at the Town of Moriah Highway Department. Hazardous Waste Collection Day is September 9th, 2023 from 8 AM to 1 PM at the Town of Ticonderoga Highway Garage.
