08 Apr ServSafe Training To Be Offered May 1st for TACC Members
ServSafe Training & Certification is being offered to Ticonderoga Area restaurants, dining facilities, convenience stores, and institutional providers of meals on Wednesday, May 1st from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Pre-Registration is required and space is limited. The training will take placed at the North Country Community College Ticonderoga Campus. The deadline To RSVP & Pay Registration Fee is Tuesday, April 16th, 2019. The cost of Training is $60.70 per participant. Checks should be made out to NCCC but send to the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce. The registration fee includes the training, all materials, books, testing, etc.
This training is for TACC Members at a greatly discounted price. The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce is organizing this training in coordination with North Country Community College and Susan Alexander, ServSafe Trainer. The training will be 8 hours and be held on Wednesday, May 1st. The training is a combination of a comprehensive power point presentation that coincides with the book material, activities, and practice quizzes. It covers all aspects of food safety from: the definitions and causes of foodborne illness, HACCP and the flow of food, safety and sanitation, etc. North Country Community College in cooperation with Susan Alexander, ServeSafe Trainer, and the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce are participating in a State University of New York workforce development program offered through community colleges. To participate in this reduced cost program, participants must be employed; each employer must be willing to pay for the participant’s time at the training; the employer must provide a CHECK MADE PAYABLE TO NCCC in the amount of above by Tuesday, April 16th, 2019. This check should be mailed to the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce office once you have registered. Employees may be required to fill out a form the day of the training.
