18 Mar Sign Up – Ticondeorga High School Spring Job Fair
The Ticonderoga Revitalization Alliance, Ticonderoga Schools, with support from the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce, are partnering on a spring job fair to connect
students with local employers for seasonal and full-time (post-graduation) employment. This
year’s fair will be held at the Ticonderoga High School gymnasium on Thursday, April 28, from 9:30 – 1:30.
This year, students will prepare for the job fair in advance by completing standardized job
applications. Teachers and counselors will mentor the students to help them put their best foot forward. Students will have the opportunity to explore a “catalog” of job opportunities and make interview appointments in advance of the big day.
On the day of the event, students will be able to engage with the attending employers and
consider all their options before participating in 15-minute interviews. Employers will be able to meet more than 200 students from 14-18 years old and talk to them about the great
opportunities available at their companies.
Employers wishing to participate in the job fair can email Melinda Fuller, at fuller.melinda@gmail.com or Claire Burns claire@ticonderoga-alliance.org. The deadline to submit job description forms to Ti-Alliance is Tuesday, March 22.
Additionally, submissions from employers who are also TACC members will be uploaded to the TACC Employment Opportunities database for digital access. The community is encouraged to use the TACC Employment Opportunities database for Ticonderoga Area employment opportunties.
