The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) in coordination with a number of partners and businesses are pleased to announce the lineup of their Spring 2018 Business Seminars.

Tuesday, April 10th: 9:00 – 10:30 AM: Marketing 101

Are you getting the basics right or do you need a refresher? Marketing is that elusive and challenging activity meant to entice customers to buy your products or services. This workshop will cover how to stand out in a crowded market place, marketing basics/refreshers, and how to do more with less.

Sign in & networking begins at 8:30 AM. The presentation will start promptly at 9:00 AM.

Tuesday, May 1st: 5:30 – 7:00 PM: Starting A Business 101

Interested in starting a business? Are you a new business owner? Wondering what you need to do? This introductory workshop will help you decide if small business ownership is for you. Join us to learn the legal and practical steps for starting a business. Identify tools to determine if your business idea can make money and key factors that influence start-up success. Topics will include the review of legal business entities, importance of a business plan, legal and tax requirements, and funding options, as well as support and resources available.

Thursday, May 3rd: 8:00 – 9:00 AM: Marketing Opportunities For Your Business

Via Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism & Lake Champlain Region.

Suzanne Maye, ROOST’s Lake Champlain Region Marketing Manager will provide an update on regional marketing initiatives; ROOST’s scope of work, data driven strategies, research, marketing plans, and marketing opportunities including photo listings on www.lakechamplainregion.com, Adirondacks, USA email marketing contests, virtual tours/spins, and more.
