With the increase COVID-19 numbers locally/regionally the TACC Office is adding some restrictions and limiting our contact with the public. This is to keep you and all of our staff safe. The TACC Team will be onsite but only available via email, phone, zoom, and TACC social media. Fort Ticonderoga recently launched its Center for Digital History, an exciting new online platform allowing Fort Ticonderoga to bring award-winning educational programs and resources into homes and classrooms around the globe. Wilson Endurance Sports/Ticonderoga Triathlon
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak that has hit our state extremely hard we are saddened to announce the cancellation of the June 20th Ticonderoga Triathlon Festival. The safety of our athletes and spectators, amazing volunteers and the Ticonderoga community is our top concern. June 19, 2021 is the re-scheduled date and all participants are automatically deferred to next year. We look forward to working with the community for the 2021 event. Last years event was the first time this race was held from Black Point Beach and it brought over 160 athletes and their families to the area from 12 other states, including Georgia, Florida and Washington as well as Canada. At the beginning of 2020 there were 135 participants registered. This type of event usually draws the highest number of registrants within 6 weeks of race day so the numbers would have far exceeded 2019. Not only are we saddened at the loss of this great event this summer; we also understand the economic benefits that are lost to the community.
