06 Feb TACC Announces Their 2023 Team Including New Board Members
The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) is honored and excited to announce their 2023 Team including changes and additions to their Board of Director. Allison Kaupelis from Pretty & Polished with Allison, was recently elected as the new TACC Board Chair and Renee Scuderi from Tromblee’s Greenhouse & Gifts moved onto the TACC Executive Board. Shylah Granger, HR Manager at Mountain Lake Services and Matthew Maneri, HR Manager at Sylvamo were also recently elected to the TACC Board.
“The Chamber is always proactively seeking to have a Board that represents a wide spectrum of business types & organizations that are TACC Members including the area’s largest employers, locally owned and operated businesses, non-profits, as well as representation from the communities they serve. Please join the Chamber in welcoming our new board members and congratulating our current board members who have taken on new roles. Each person on our Board brings a different perspective and set of skills. The Chamber is your Business & Visitor Center! We are dedicated to our Members, businesses, organizations, partners, and the entire Ticonderoga Area. The TACC staff and board help us live our mission, strive to reach our vision, and plan for our continued collective future successes. The TACC Board participates regularly on committees, attend events, and make everything the Chamber does possible. I am proud of what we have accomplished over the last ten years and look forward to the next ten years. I would like to give a special thanks to Carolyn Ida from Sylvamo who was our past Board Chair. Carolyn is an amazing person. She was truly dedicated to the Chamber, supported our staff, and helped continue the Chambers forward movement,” commented Matthew Courtright – TACC President & CEO.

The TACC partners with the Town of Ticonderoga, Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism/Lake Champlain Region Visitor Center, North Country Chamber of Commerce, Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership, Small Business Development Center, Adirondack Trail Riders, Ticonderoga360, Essex County Industrial Development Agency, Adirondack North Country Association/Center For Businesses In Transition, Town of Hague, PRIDE of Ticonderoga & the Adirondack Economic Development Corporation. TACC also works closely with other area organizations and economic development agencies locally, regionally, and the state level.
In addition, the Chamber has Committee Chairs and Committee Volunteers that are not TACC Board Members including June Curtis, Farmers Market Chairperson/Advisor, Theresa Abare, Community Appreciation Dinner & Awards Ceremony Chairperson, and Jodi Gibbs, Ambassador Chairperson. All TACC Board Members, Ambassadors, Committee Chairs, and Committee Members are volunteers who are dedicated to the mission and vision of the Chamber.
The TACC serves, markets, and promotes their Members, Partners, and the Ticonderoga Area including Ticonderoga, Crown Point, Hague, Moriah, and Putnam, NY. The Chamber works hard each and every day to live their tag line and mission and strive to reach their vision.
