27 Sep TACC Guest Speaker at LCLGRPB Inaugural Conference
On September 22nd, 2022 the Lake Champlain Lake George Regional Planning Board inaugural conference took place in Lake Placid, NY. The conference content included key economic development topics such as housing, child care, infrastructure, and main street revitalization, as well as information on state and federal programs. The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce was invited to be guest speaker during the main street revitalization session. TACC President & CEO presented to the conference a variety of information in regards to Ticonderoga Area and Downtown Ticonderoga revitalization efforts, This included information on the Chamber’s restructuring, growth, key areas of focus, goals and objectives and services, as well as a highlight of local, regional, and state partners and coordination efforts, the Small Towns Big Opportunities initiative, Center For Businesses In Transition Program, the Ticonderoga Downtown Revitalization Initiative effort, and an overview of the team of staff members, partners, businesses, organizations, volunteers, and community members that have made all of the past and current revitalization efforts possible.
