Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market Opens July 12th With Exciting New Season

The Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market will officially open for the 2025 season on Saturday, July 12th and will run every Saturday through September 6th. The Market will offer fresh local goods, locally made products, live music, family-friendly activities, a variety of giveaways, and special events. The market will take place each Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Downtown Ticonderoga, unless otherwise noted.

The 2025 market will feature themed Saturdays, community collaborations, and fun additions for all ages, including weekly kids’ activities, live music, and a Kinetic Sand Station. Special giveaways will be available throughout the season thanks to generous local sponsors.

“The Farmers Market Committee is incredibly excited for the 2025 season,” shared the Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market Committee. “We’ve put a lot of heart into planning new features, activities, and partnerships to make the market even more enjoyable for our community. We’re really hoping for strong local support and turnout each week as we continue to grow together.”

Market highlights include:

July 12th: Family Fun & Emergency Services Appreciation Day

  • Music by DJ Dan Whitford.
  • Touch a Truck event with Ticonderoga EMS, Volunteer Fire Department & Police Department.
  • Bounce House sponsored by North Country Rural Development Coalition (NRDC).
  • The Wind-Chill Bear Meet & Greet.
  • Dunk Booth & Games provided by Ticonderoga EMS.
  • Games by Cornell Cooperative Extension.
  • First 50 kids will receive a free ice cream gift certificate provided by The Wind-Chill Factory.

July 19th:

  • Music by DJ Dan Whitford.
  • First 50 kids will receive a giveaway sponsored by That’s RAD!!

July 26th: StreetFest

  • New Farmers Market Square (Montcalm Street, across from TACC).
  • 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Food trucks, picnic tables, live music by Hank Bisner, and kids activities.
  • First 50 kids’ will receive a giveaway sponsored by Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership.

August 2nd:

  • Live music by Jim Shaw.
  • First 50 kids will receive a Hot Wheels Car sponsored by Ti Automotive.

August 9th: Local Artisans & Authors Day

  • Local creatives offering items for sale, book signings, readings, and demonstrations.
  • The Black Watch Memorial Library will be present for Imagination Library sign-ups.
  • Live music by Hank Bisner.
  • First 50 kids will receive bookmarks, coloring books and crayons sponsored by NRDC.

August 16th:

  • Live music by Kate MD (Kaitlin Bevins, Mike Iturrino & Darren Patnode).
  • First 50 people will receive a koozie provided by Burleigh’s Luncheonette.

August 23rd: Community Non-Profit Day

  • TACC Member organizations will set up displays to share their mission, upcoming events, and provide giveaways and/or activities.
  • First 50 kids will receive a giveaway sponsored by Bain’s Sunoco.
  • Live music by Roberta Whitely and Lance Dolbeck.

August 30th:

  • Live music by The Dons.
  • First 50 kids will receive a foam football giveaway courtesy of the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce.

September 6th: History Speaks Event

  • Fort Ticonderoga Fife & Drum Corps performance.
  • Local history groups with exhibits and retail items.
  • Ticonderoga Heritage Museum Industry Walking Tour led by Mark Wright.
  • Live music by The Loose Monkeys.
  • First 50 people will receive a fresh vegetable giveaway from June Curtis.
