08 Jul Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market To Open For Season In Downtown
Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) is thrilled announce that the Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market will open for the 2024 Season on Saturday, July 13th in Downtown Ticonderoga. The market will take place on Saturday’s from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM through the end of September. Located on a beautiful green space near the LaChute River, just off Montcalm Street (behind Glens Falls National Bank, intersection of McCormick Street and Champlain Avenue) the market offers an array of local products, produce, live music, kids activities, special events, and more. There is plenty of parking available with two public lots located next to the market.
Several special events are planned for the 2024 season including the following:
- July 20th: Family Fun Day, Live Music, & Kids Corner
- August 17th: Makers Market, Local Authors Day, Live Music, & Kids Corner
- September 21st: History Speaks Event, Live Music, & Kids Corner
Live music will also take place at each market. Stay tuned for details on each special event and the live music schedule, which will be announced on the Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market and Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook pages.
Please note that the market will be part of StreetFest on July 27th from 10 AM to 3 PM and FallFest on September 28th from 12 – 3 PM. On Friday, December 6th, 2024 the Holiday Market will take place at the Chamber Office from 5-8 PM as part of the Annual Ticonderoga Area North Country Christmas and Holiday Shopping & Dining Night. Details for these events will be announced.
In addition to the events planned, free local food activity guides for kids provided by Adirondack Harvest and free weekly recipes from the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce will be available. Other giveaways and activities will take place throughout the season. A 50/50 raffle will also take place all season to support the market activities, events, music, etc.

On Friday, July 19th, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM the Essex County Office of the Aging will be distributing farmers market coupons at the TACC Office. Participants will receive a booklet with five $5.00 coupons. Interested individuals must be 60 years of age or older. Please call 518-873-3695 for more information on eligibility.
