Friday, May 24th:
Silver Bay YMCA Memorial Day Weekend Celebration: Silver Bay, NY
Silver Bay’s Memorial Day Weekend Celebration will take place Friday, May 24th through Monday, May 27th with a variety of events including food, family fun, outdoor recreational activities, crafts, games, and more. Mount Defiance Lodge Roast Turkey Dinner: Ticonderoga, NY
4:30 – 6:00 PM. $15.00 per dinner. Dine-in and take-out available. The Mount Defiance Lodge and Order of the Easter Star is located at 10 Montcalm Street in Ticonderoga, NY.
Saturday, May 25th:
Annual Ticonderoga Elks Lodge Drive Thru Chicken BBQ
11:30 AM until gone. The event will take place in the public parking lot next to the Ticonderoga Elk’s Lodge. $15.00 per dinner. The menu will include a half chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, roll, and butter. Call 518-585-2277 to reserve your dinner.
Town of Hague Memorial Day Celebration – 21st Annual Parade & FunFest: Hague, NY
10:00 AM to 4:00 PM: FunFest at the Hague Town Park (located on Route 9N)
Music, food, crafters, vendors, White Elephant Sale, games for the family, Penelope the Clown, and bounce house. Food concessions including hot dogs, burgers, and soft drinks are being provided by the Hague Fish and Game Club. Funnel cakes and fried Oreos will be available. The Hague Volunteer Fire Department Chicken BBQ will take place following the parade. Mike’s Karaoke Machine: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Cambridge Band Live Concert: 12:30 PM. Phil Singer, Caricature Artist: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
2:00 PM: Parade: Route 8 to Hague Town Park on Route 9N
Bands, floats, clowns, classic cars, and Fort Ticonderoga Fife and Drum Corp. The 2024 Grand Marshal is Patricia Hintze and the Senior of the Year is Edna Frasier. Prizes will be given for the following categories: Best In Parade, Most Creative, Most Patriotic, Best Adirondack, Most Humorous, and Best Youth, as well as Honorable Mention Adult and Youth. Winners will be announced at the Memorial Dedication Service in the Hague Town Park following the parade.

Fort Ticonderoga Memorial Day Weekend Celebration: Ticonderoga, NY
Join Fort Ticonderoga to pay tribute to the men and women who lost their lives in service to their country during the American Revolution. Fort Ticonderoga will pay tribute to the men and women who lost their lives in service to their country during the American Revolution. Discover the story of the American Army in 1777 and how it prepared to defend liberty at Ticonderoga through living history programs and demonstrations throughout Memorial Day Weekend. Throughout the weekend, witness the labor of liberty as soldiers from the Continental Army bring to life this defining story through military drills, historic trades, and fatigue duties such as carpentry. Enjoy narrated scenic boat tours aboard the Carillon and cruise along the same shores of Lake Champlain that American soldiers and sailors sailed in 1777. A full line-up of activities and programs offered throughout the weekend include daily tours of the fort, King’s Garden, and museum exhibition spaces; historic trades programs; ongoing living history programs; thrilling weapons demonstrations; the Mount Defiance experience; and the Carillon Battlefield hiking trail. A special commemorative ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 26. Fort Ticonderoga events are taking place Saturday and Sunday, May 25-26, 2024

6:00 – 9:00 PM: Live Music: Grit’ N Whiskey, Modern Country.
Dusk: Grand Fireworks Display Over Veteran’s Memorial Park.
