Silver Bay’s Memorial Day Weekend Celebration will take place Friday, May 22nd through Monday, May 25th with a variety of events including food, family fun, outdoor recreational activities, crafts, games, and more.
Friday, May 22nd Highlight: Silver Spirit Boat Tours (10am – 11am, 1pm – 2:15 pm, 3pm – 4:15pm, 6:45pm – 7:45pm), Trivia Night 7pm – 8pm, Mountain View Grille 5 – 9pm.
Mount Defiance Lodge Roast Turkey Dinner: Ticonderoga, NY
Dine-in and take-out available from 4:30 – 6:00 PM.
$15.00 per dinner. The Mount Defiance Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star is located at 10 Montcalm Street in Ticonderoga, NY.
Saturday, May 23rd:
Annual Elks Lodge Drive Thru Chicken BBQ: Ticonderoga, NY
The Chicken BBQ will begin at 12:00 PM (until chickens are sold out).
The event will take place in the public parking lot next to the Ticonderoga Elks Lodge. $15.00 per dinner. The menu will include a half chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, roll, and butter. Call 518-585-2277 to reserve your dinner.
Town of Hague Memorial Day Celebration – 23rd Annual Parade & FunFest: Hague, NY
12:00 PM to 4:00 PM: FunFest at the Hague Town Park (located on Route 9N)
Music, food, crafters, vendors, White Elephant Sale, games for the family, Penelope the Clown, and bounce house. Food concessions including hot dogs, burgers, and soft drinks are being provided by the Hague Fish and Game Club. The Hague Volunteer Fire Department Chicken BBQ will take place following the parade.
2:00 PM: Parade: Route 8 to Hague Town Park on Route 9N
Bands, floats, and Fort Ticonderoga Fife and Drum Corp. The 2026 Grand Marshal is to be announced and the Senior of the Year is Diane Trudeau. Prizes will be given for the following categories: Best In Parade, Most Creative, Most Patriotic, Best Adirondack, Most Humorous, and Best Youth, as well as Honorable Mention Adult and Youth. Winners will be announced at the Memorial Dedication Service in the Hague Town Park following the parade.

4:00 PM: BBQ at Hague Volunteer Fire Department

Join Fort Ticonderoga on Memorial Day weekend, to remember the service of the men and women of the armed forces of the United States who gave their all on the very grounds where so many American soldiers fought and sacrificed. Join the Fifes & Drums of Fort Ticonderoga for a special commemorative ceremony on Sunday. Experience service for Continental Army soldiers in May 1776, from their weapons to their rations, and learn about what they believed would come from their sacrifice in the name of liberty. All day long, watch as these Continental soldiers ply their civilian trades and help support the American defense along Lake Champlain.
