Webinar: Moving from Surviving to Thriving in 2021

Chambers and AEDC offer Financial Health Webinar for Businesses

Local Chambers of Commerce, including the North Country Chamber of Commerce and the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Adirondack Economic Development Corporation, will host a seminar to help businesses evaluate their current financial position and make plans for the future.

The webinar, “Moving from Surviving to Thriving in 2021”, will be held on Thursday January 14th from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. There is no charge to attend, but pre-registration is required.

2020 was all about surviving, getting through, and waiting for better days to come. Now that recovery is in sight plans can and should be made for what comes next. This informative webinar will help businesses assess their current financial position and develop strategies to move forward in the New Year. Attendees will learn about:

  • Getting their financial house in order – topics such as debt, credit, budget, and cash flow
  • Positioning their business for success in 2021 and beyond – setting goals, adapting to change, building cash reserves, examining markets for their products and services, evaluating future needs, and outreach to current customers and vendors.

The webinar presenters are:

Victoria Zinser Duley, the Executive Director of the Adirondack Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), which is located in Saranac Lake. Victoria took on the Executive Director role in March of 2019. Prior to that she held positions in economic development, planning, higher education and research in the North Country and in Florida. During the webinar Victoria will share the experience she has gained by working in both the private and public sectors over the past 20 years.

Steve Garneau, Small Business Support Specialist at AEDC. Steve has been with the organization since 2012 and has over 20 years of commercial lending experience.
