The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) kicked off 2020 on January 16th at their New Year Networking event and released their 2020 Save The Date which includes Chamber events, TACC partner events, and a brief highlight of area events that are visitor focused. The TACC Save The Date is used to promote the year ahead for the Chamber and the Ticonderoga Area but is also handed out to visitors and TACC Members as a planning tool. A Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting celebration in coordination with the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce will be held on Thursday, January 30th from 4:30 – 6:00 PM. The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) will continue to partner with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and services will be available directly at the Chamber office throughout 2020. The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce office is located at 94 Montcalm Street, Suite 1 in downtown Ticonderoga. The SBDC (SUNY Canton SBDC at Clinton Community College) is a TACC partner that offers an array of services in addition to the business support, services, and programs the Chamber provides. The Essex County Industrial Development Agency, in partnership with the Town of Ticonderoga and the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce, was awarded a 2019 Adirondack Park Community Smart Growth Grant Program for a Microenterprise Program.
