The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) will continue to partner with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and services will be available directly at the Chamber office throughout 2020. The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce office is located at 94 Montcalm Street, Suite 1 in downtown Ticonderoga. The SBDC (SUNY Canton SBDC at Clinton Community College) is a TACC partner that offers an array of services in addition to the business support, services, and programs the Chamber provides. The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) is pleased to announce that Health Insurance Services will continue to be available to all TACC Members and the Ticonderoga Area business community in coordination with their partner the North Country Chamber of Commerce - Plattsburgh. The Essex County Industrial Development Agency, in partnership with the Town of Ticonderoga and the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce, was awarded a 2019 Adirondack Park Community Smart Growth Grant Program for a Microenterprise Program.  The total amount awarded for this program is $100,000, provided by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation to strengthen links between community and visitors and the surrounding recreational and cultural resources.  The Microenterprise Grant Program (MGP) will soon be available for local businesses located or to be located along main street / central business district. The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) held their annual Community Appreciation Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, October 24th, 2019 at the Best Western Plus Ticonderoga Inn & Suites. The Community Appreciation Dinner and Awards Ceremony gave the Chamber a chance to honor and thank those who give of themselves for the betterment of the Ticonderoga Area.
